REVERSE THE 20MPH LIMITS IN SWANSEA

As your voice in the Senedd, I want to hear directly from you about the impact of the 20mph limits across Swansea. Many residents have told me that these restrictions are causing unnecessary delays, congestion, and frustration, and are not making our streets significantly safer.

This policy was introduced without proper consultation and does not reflect the realities faced by drivers, families, and local businesses. People are spending more time in traffic, emergency services face delays, and everyday journeys — including getting to work, school, or appointments — have become slower and more stressful.

I am committed to standing up for sensible road policies that make our streets safe without unnecessary restrictions. Your experiences and opinions matter, and I want to use them to challenge the decision-makers responsible for these limits.

I’ve launched a survey to collect clear evidence from Swansea residents about how the 20mph limits are affecting your daily life. By taking part, you can make your voice heard and help push for practical, common-sense changes that actually work for our community.

Together, we can make Swansea’s roads safer through effective measures, not blanket restrictions.

Do you support the Welsh Labour Government and Plaid Cymru’s default 20mph speed limits across Wales?
The Welsh Government spent £32M on changing road signs alone to accommodate their 20mph. Do you think this is…?
The Welsh Conservatives would revoke Labour and Plaid’s 20mph default speed limits, keeping them in common sense areas like outside schools and other high footfall areas, but scrapping them elsewhere. Do you agree with this policy?
