Improve the NHS in Swansea

HELP ME IMPROVE NHS SERVICES IN SWANSEA

As your voice in the Senedd, I want to hear directly from you about the issues that matter most to you  — particularly your experiences of local NHS services — so we can help deliver a better NHS for everyone across Gower and Swansea.

Too many residents tell me they do not hear enough from their politicians or feel that decision-makers are too far removed from the realities they face, especially when it comes to accessing healthcare. Concerns about GP appointments, waiting times, mental health support, and other health services are raised time and again by my constituents.

That's why I'm committed to doing something about it.

I hold regular advice surgeries to support residents with any issues or concerns, and over the past few years have met hundreds of people from across our city. However, I recognises that attending a surgery is not always convenient or suitable for everyone.

That is why I've launched my own survey on the NHS locally — to gather clear evidence about people’s experiences, the pressures they are facing, and the improvements they want to see.

By taking part, you can help build a stronger case for change. The results will be used to challenge decision-makers, raise concerns with Swansea Council, the Welsh Government, and Swansea Bay University Health Board, and push for practical improvements to NHS services in Swansea.

Completing this survey is a real opportunity to make sure your voice is heard and to help shape the future of healthcare in our community.

Thank you in advance,

Tom
