I’m shocked and disappointed that Underhill Hub in Mumbles has announced it has to close.
They’ve cited pressure over excessive business rates as the key reason for the closure - in Wales, we of course have the highest business rates in the UK.
I raised the issue in the Senedd and will continue to work with Team Mumbles in the hope that there is an opportunity in the future for others to run and manage this vital community asset.
